We have some exciting updates to show you this issue! The Auburn has finally been reunited with its original restored chassis and the race is on to finish the Silver Ghost in time for the Peking to Paris Rally!

Finally the car really is starting to take shape, the chassis is complete now and ready to receive its fully rebuilt motor by the end of February. Many modifications have been made to prepare this car for its Journey across the continent, including, fitting hydraulic brakes in the front with the mechanical system in the rear, an electronic overdrive, additional springs, stiffened body framing, as well as the provision for dual fuel systems. By the end of February the body will be complete and we will have a fully driving car. As the Peking to Paris Rally draws closer, we thought you would enjoy taking a glimpse at what the Silver Ghost is in for, covering over 14,500 KM across Europe. Butch has been reassembling the motor on this one, including a custom made aluminum gasket to compensate for gap in the timing chain. Now that it's together it has been mounted on the frame. |

Greetings friends and colleagues, As this year flies by, the calendar spins off my desk and the days seem to pass quicker still, all the talk of the economy has made me reflect on how far we have come in the last year... in fact the last 3 years. Many of you that have been with us prior to our major move in 2006 from our former 5,500 square foot building to our new 27,000 square foot facility have experienced all of our growing pains with us. |
